View Community Advisors Inc. is a nonprofit consulting firm that works with large organizations, Cities, Counties, and other Government entities to understand housing issues. Many communities today are experiencing a housing crisis, and don't know what steps to take. Local organizations often lack the financial or administrative capacity to tackle these systemic issues. At View, we take on the challenge.

Recent Projects
Local Homeless Housing Plan
Mason County, WA
2025
View led a strategic planning process to address housing and homelessness in Mason County, WA. Over a limited 8-month period we conducted a community partners summit, interviews, survey, focus groups, and data analysis to develop an understanding of local needs and vision. The final report included a system map, gaps analysis, evaluation of costs and impacts, and community-led recommendations for a 5-year strategy. (Together with Partners for Community Impact)
Coordinated Entry Evaluation
Mason County, WA
2025
The Ventura County Continuum of Care worked with View to develop a full evaluation of their Coordinated Entry System performance. To understand the local process, View conducted interviews, focus groups, surveys, and completed data analysis. The results were compared to HUD requirements and local community needs to develop a report with recommendations. Suggestions centered around efficiency and equity to best utilize limited resources for greatest impact. (Together with Partners for Community Impact)
Community Engagement - Housing Strategy
Clayton County, GA
2026
View served as the community engagement arm of a multi-disciplinary team developing the 2026 Housing Assessment and Strategy for Clayton County, GA. The plan explores economic conditions in the area and pathways for future development. View also provided expertise on homelessness for the team. Activities included regional Open House events, Focus Groups, Community Survey, Community Input Meetings, and a Project Website. (Together with KB Advisory Group)
Technical Assistance and Meeting Faciliatation
Santa Barbara County, CA

The FY25 and FY26 HUD Continuum of Care notice of funding opportunities required communities to rapidly shift their approach to running a local competition. View provided expert technical assistance so that CoC leadership could adjust their processes to fit new regulations while still maintaining community values.
